Positive psychology started with a vision to steer traditional psychology back towards what makes life worth living, towards courage, generosity, creativity, joy and gratitude (Csikszentmihalyi and Nakamura 2011). Resilience is our ability to bounce back from the stresses of life. It’s not about avoiding stress but learning to thrive – despite stress. NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) can help us to reset our programming so that we can live and experience life free from old limiting thoughts and beliefs.

I’ve had a 30-plus year rewarding career in law, working as a Barrister. Throughout that time I have been struck by the numbers of people whose lives have been blighted by their earlier experiences and who have had to carry the burden of those for a very long time.
